The development of the information technology has decreased the cost to share various information. The medical treatment is not the exception. However, the medical treatment is essentially the one intended for the individual so that we always receive the restriction according to the delicacy of individual information. The flow of the society that says “from paper to electric medical records” doesn't agree with these characteristics of medical treatments. In other words, instead of we share patient information merely by electronic method, we need the mechanism that the intelligent sharing can be done at the same time. This symposium is a corporate planning with the Japanese Society of Dental Practice Administration and the Japan Association for Medical Informatics. And the theme of this symposium is "Medical information technology corresponding to the change in the social climate". The Japanese Society of Dental Practice Administration is an academic society that aimed to attempt the improvement and the streamlining the operation of the content of the medical treatment. This and our society have a lot of common features in the point that they have done research activities that contemplate an interdisciplinary area. We are going to have two speakers involved in the medical information long time for the lecture by the aspect of use of the information technology in and outside of the dental office. The first speaker is Dr. Torada from PACS dental clinic and his theme is "KJBT (Management, information and document control tools) in dental practice". He thinks that it is important to catch the medical information generated in the clinic in the source and efficiently share them with staff persons. The second speaker is Dr. Narusawa from Showa University Dental Hospital and his theme is "Stage of barrier-free measures of dental clinics viewed from medical informatics". He is going to show us that what information was sent from dental office and it was necessary to be sent. We are planning to discuss these themes with the participants after two speakers end the topics.
1. はじめに
情報技術の発達は、様々な情報を共有するためのコストを低下させており医療もその例外ではないが、医療は本質的に”個”を対象としたものであることから、個人情報というデリケートな情報を扱うことの制約を絶えず受けている。そして、紙から電子へという社会の流れは、このような医療の特性とマッチしない部分を残しながら進展している。つまり、医療では単に情報共有するのではなく、必要なときに、必要なひとが共有できる仕組みを同時に持っていなければならない。
2. 共同企画の意図
本シンポジュウムは、”社会環境の変化に対応する医療情報技術”をテーマとし、日本歯科医療管理学会との共同企画である。
日本歯科医療管理学会は、歯科医療に関連した近代的諸科学を広く導入研究することによって、医療の内容の向上と経営の合理化を図ることを目的とした学会であり、学際的領域を視野に入れた研究活動を行ってきた点で日本医療情報学会と多くの共通点がある。そこで、今回は長く医療情報にたずさわってこられたお二方に、歯科診療所での情報技術の活用という視点で講演をお願いした。
3. 話題提供
最初にパックス・デンタル・クリニックの乕田克巨先生に、”歯科診療所で使うＫＪＢＴ（管理、情報、文書ツール）”と題して、診療所内で発生する医療情報を如何に効率よく発生源でとらえ、共有するかのお話しをしていただく。乕田先生の視点は現場と密着した医療管理ということであり、実際にお使いの仕組みをご紹介いただく。次に、昭和大学歯科病院の成澤英明先生に、”医療情報からみた歯科医療機関のバリアフリー化”と題して、歯科診療所を外から見たときにどのような情報が発信されているか、あるいは発信されるべきかについて、バリアフリー化への取組みに焦点をあてた講演をしていただく。
お二人のお話しをきっかけに、診療所を主体とした医療情報共有のあり方について、フロアの参加者とディスカッションする予定である。
